I’ve been with CTCU for almost 6 years and today was not a great experience. No more 3rd party verifications on payments. You have to get the 3rd party to send in info. Basically your credit union making you work in order to receive your money. On top of that will charge you $25 for requesting info on payments. Basically charging you to get your money back on a disputed charge. Then insufficient payments cost $30 on a payment that I asked to be stopped. Then to stop payment cost $30 also. I thought that a credit union is supposed to help you financially not charge you for everything.

Not a reliable bank! Their phones are always disconnected and the customer Service is very unprofessional in the Tyler and Lindale’s Location.

Number one if, I could give a 100 stars I would. With that being said. God blessed me to be able to be helped by a very patient, dedicated, amazing Cooperative Teachers Credit Union employee and she went well above and beyond the call of duty.
I had been double charged by a well known hotel chain using my credit and my debit (that was to be used for incidentals) but because my credit was charged over 9 times and the maximum let was meet they decided to charge my debit instead as well. Alex, you are totally amazing and definitely need to be recognized for all the hours on the phone you put in with me and how you saw what the hotel was doing and you made me know that Cooperative Teachers Credit Union has my back.
Mere words could not say how much I appreciate you and I thank you so so much. Your superior should be very proud of you. I have been a member of the credit for over 10 years. I have needed assistance from time to time, but this is the most assistance that I have needed and it is good to know I had Alex Fulmer as my CTCU representative as the one to helping me. It was stressful but knowing you were on the other end made it a little less stressful. Thanks so much a very satisfied customer.

CTCU was great at first! As a realtor I recommended multiple clients over to CTCU and they were happy at first as well.

I immediately noticed the turnover rate at CTCU and how people moved around within quite a bit which is to be expected with turnover. However, recently I have had issues and when dealing with them would get rerouted multiple times and get different answers everytime. One person would send me a document to sign and the next would call and say that document wasn't valid and I had to come in in person, next a check that was never held before began to get held.. sane circumstances but new policies or old policies that were followed or not based on who you got.

After making a fb post about my experience I received multiple calls from the clients I recommended there asking me where I was going and that they too were seeking somewhere else to bank.

I do recommend their mortgage dept for some people based on different circumstances but I do not recommend the day to day banking operation AT ALL.

I’ve had my account with CTCU for over 3 years, and I can say without a doubt that Morgan goes above and beyond to make sure you and your finances are taken well care of! She loves what she does and it shows! 🙂

I’ve had a car loan with this bank for a few years now. I paid my monthly payment on the 1st in cash, then they told me this is the last payment I have to make because my balance is zero. Yesterday I get a statement from my card stating they tried to pull another payment out. So I went up to the bank to try to get it situated, then they tell me there’s one more payment I supposedly have to make even though I was told I was done and I have paperwork to prove it. They’re expecting me to pay this which is ridiculous. Everyone I’ve spoke with was nice and professional but, it’s disappointing when you’re told one thing and then someone else tells you different. There’s a major miscommunication in the establishment and I hope they get it resolved quickly.

I absolutely Love and appreciate this credit union very very much. I was in the car business for 21 years pulling credit every day helping people get approved on vehicle loans and either starting or /rebuilding their credit …and understanding the huge importance of good credit in this world , I myself also was in a position many years ago where I needed to establish credit and needed someone to help me and give me a chance , As I really didn’t have any credit . I was referred to this credit union by a very good friend of many years who actually worked there and they gave me a chance! I started out with small personal loans , and then in 2017 they stepped out on a limb and really gave me a chance to build credit and financed me a $14,000 car. I paid on that car like clockwork for four years and in the process also paid off small personal loans , things like that. Well it tremendously pushed my credit up. And now today 7 years later , After several things financed with them- I was able to just buy a brand new 2023 TAHOE PREMIUM 4X4 dream ride !!The people at Cooperative Teachers credit union are extremely wonderful to deal with Haley Green was my loan officer she is incredible and such a pleasure to deal with and all the crew there I wouldn’t go to another bank for the rest of my time of doing business they definitely have me as a lifelong credit union member and I’m very grateful for them 10 star review they helped build my dreams come true.
