Our experience with Amber Velasquez was extremely frustrating and disappointing. From the moment we interacted with her, it was clear that she had no interest in assisting us. She was dismissive, unprofessional, and made us feel like we were a burden. What made the situation even more upsetting was how friendly and courteous she was with her co-workers. It was evident that she could be pleasant when she wanted to be, but unfortunately, we didn’t receive the same treatment.

As paying customers, we expected a basic level of respect and professionalism, but Amber seemed entirely uninterested in providing any sort of helpful or courteous service. Her attitude left us feeling disrespected and undervalued. It’s incredibly frustrating to encounter such blatant disregard for customers, especially when it's clear the individual is capable of better behavior.

This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I sincerely hope management takes steps to address this issue. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid dealing with her if you’re looking for respectful and professional service.

Amber was my loan officer and she was truly amazing ? I ended up consolidating a high interest loan with a very loan interest loan. Super pleased with the results. On another note I ended up finalizing my loan on a particularly rough day. She was very compassionate and easy to talk to. That's true customer service. Thank you Amber.

Terrible fraud protection. Somehow my inactivated debit card was used in Delaware (I’m in New Mexico) and the only help I got so far was “sorry, contact the merchant.” I’d recommend almost any other bank.

First and foremost, this review is being provided by Janette, not Nestor. Because our account is in both names, you should never leave out a name when addressing the owners, so points off for that.
MY business transactions on 10/13/23 were with Amber and they were very positive. She was more than helpful because she answered, in detail, my questions which allowed me to make a better decision as to what type of account to add to my existing account. In this day and age, when one can actually deal with a human in customer service AND get someone who is personable, it’s a win-win situation. Here’s hoping that service will remain a consistent.

I have been a member of this credit union for almost a decade and have nothing but positive feedback to provide. Most recently, Dwight went above and beyond to ensure I qualified for a loan with a great rate and made sure everything went smooth throughout the process. He even followed up after the fact to confirm everything was satisfactory. Every time I go into the local branch or call the service center, there is hardly any wait and the service is always extremely professional. There are so many options and services they provide, and have one of the best banking apps I've ever used with top notch security features and lots of user friendly options. Definitely recommend this credit union to all my friends and family!
