iAM ABLE

What a pleasure it is to have an organization like iAM Able Fitness in our community. My 13 year old son has a spinal cord injury and has been coming here since 2015. You cannot compare the therapy you receive here to that of traditional physical therapy. Their approach to therapy is like no other. They have specialized equipment that cannot be found in traditional therapy centers. The therapists are friendly, knowledgeable, and treat their patients like family. Founders, Alfredo and Michelle Iglesias are amazing people. Their willingness to help and share knowledge from their own experience is admirable. I highly recommend iAM Able fitness!

This facility is such an asset to the disabled community. To begin the owner has a spinal cord injury so he truly knows the challenges that many of us face and he and his amazing staff do an excellent job at understanding those needs. They have up to date equipment that can target many physical weaknesses and the staff truly is wonderful and caring. I am so grateful to be able to get treatment here and I have made tremendous gains.

I am Able Gym is an amazing gym that offers a program very specific to your personal need, it has state of the art equipment, but is more than a gym, the friendly staff is also there to support you! My son looks forward to his two weekly visits. He is now after our life changing experience that took place in January 2018, certain that he will get better. Thanks to all the trainers and the founders of I am Able!!!

I’m so grateful to be a part of the iAm Able family. I’ve participated in their program over a year and can’t express how tremendously positive the experience has been. From the first day of rolling in to the gym, I felt a sense of community, positivity and support. The staff and trainers incorporate the best practices out there for how to train a person with a disability in the most safe and effective ways possible. Personally I’ve experienced weight loss, increased muscle strength, and an overall more positive outlook on my life since attending the program. Keep up the good work, you all are making real change in so many lives!

I am very thankful for iamable! My son suffered from a severe head injury and was not able to move his right side of his body. Iamable as been there for my son more then you can imagine. They treat you like family and have your best interest at heart! This place truly cares! My son has came a long way thanks to iamable and for the incredible donations that helped my son to be able to get the care he needs. I will forever be grateful ? Highly recommend this place!

I have been going to I Am Able this year after I got into a horrific car accident about a year ago. Prior to beginning I am able, I was only going to rehab at Jackson hospital. While Jackson really did show me how I can exactly move around on a daily basis, I did not really realize that I could still basically do anything until I went to I Am Able. I Am Able really shows me that I still have a wonderful life to live and that I can do so, the only issue I’m having right now is that I cannot walk. All of the trainers at I Am Able are very positive, encouraging people. Alfredo, the owner, is also very empowering especially considering that he understands spinal cord injury. Not only have I noticed more strength in my body since going to I Am Able, but I also noticed more strength growing in my mind and my outlook for the future. My background in clinical psychology really teaches me a lot about what I am going through and what I experience surrounding me especially since my accident. I am able is certainly a huge benefit in my life and well-being. I am so thankful for the help that I get over there and it is also a big benefit for me that it is only a few minutes away from my house so the rides on Sts over there aren’t too long, LOL.

iAM ABLE understands what it takes to recover from a spinal cord injury. They provide personalized programs for each individual because they understand that no two injuries are alike. Very knowledgeable trainers and a positive environment. Highly recommended.

Finding great Physical Therapy where the therapist are knowledgeable, personable, & empathetic to all clients needs is not an easy task. Thankfully, I found iAmAble! I knew this place was something special from day one (Literally, I was basically client numero uno). 6 years later I’m still there twice a week and wouldn’t change a thing. They are completely different from all the many PT places around and focus and design personal therapy plans for every individual clients needs and goals. A HUGE plus for me ( a c6-c7 quadriplegic) is the Lokomat system they have that gives me the ability To stand up right, and walk assisted on the treadmill. This place is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a life changing experience!
