Stay far far away. It's a scam organization.
I never had a lapsed insurance ever. They never requested any proof and then charged 2100$ out of nowhere.
I submitted the proof of insurance.
But every payment is $10 charge every month and then so many issues. Everytime some new charge. I wonder how no one ever sued them.

This is one of the worst banks I've ever dealt with. They will put unreasonable holds on money (any bank should be able to electronically verify a check within 24 hours in today's technology age). They will acknowledge that they have a deposit that was sent Friday night and that they are open for business on Saturday, but that they don't consider Saturday a "business day" so they can continue to hold onto a few thousand dollars for two more days until they feel like releasing it. Oh and they have the money. It's sitting in their holding cell for the weekend collecting them interest. But have no fear, for the low low price of $35/transaction, I can use my card with their "courtesy pay". What a rip off. I'll go somewhere else that places the customer first.

For starters read the other reviews.

I started banking with blue almost 20 years ago. At the time it was called Warren FCU and they tried to stick to the small credit union, big pay off model. The customer service was good, and in house and although their has been a huge change in the way people bank (digital and online) Blue has failed miserably to keep up. Additionally Blue has the burden and coldness of a large bank like BoA or Wells Fargo, but without the resources. It’s the worst of both worlds. They stopped paying competitively, as the tellers and customer service reps are insanely rude, if you can get anyone on the phone. The chat feature doesn’t work at all.

Chose BFCU if you want the downsides of a big bank (and no they do not act like a credit union anymore) without the few upsides to big banking, like convenience. Welcome to midsize banking.

Blue FCU began phasing in a new digital platform in early 2024. Unfortunately, the roll-out has been anything but seamless. We have encountered several issues including, but not limited to, a malfunctioning Bill Pay, inadvertent deactivation of our checking account resulting in bounced checks, and faulty site navigation and link access. The new site is horrible compared to the previous and the vision used for its implementation seems to have been non-existent. I've spent too much time trying to get these issues fixed. It may be time to move on.

Lost all trust in Blue today, and I am super disappointed by this, its been a good relationship to this point. Today I went to the bank and pulled some money for vacation to find I was missing money in one of my savings accounts. Turns out the money had been transferred to a adult childs account to balance their debt. I had no idea without my consent as the primary on my account that my money could be taken without my knowledge and applied to another Blue account I have no control or access to. Turns out how it was done was with the rights of the bank but what a bummer as I leave for vacation. Now this leaves me wondering how many other ways can Blue take my money and give it to someone else? again they say they did what they were allowed to do but it sure would have been nice to at least let me know they were taking my money. Make sure you ask how many different ways can they take your money and give it to someone else without your knowledge. Makes me nervous to leave my money with Blue, now I wonder what else can they do.

Update: today is 1/30/2024, I sent my contact number as requested to Blue back on 1/16/2024 and as I figured nobody has reached out. If they will take my money and transfer it to someone else's account that I have no connection to without even a phone call I am not surprised they have not called. They took money we hoped to have for our 25th anniversary trip we were leaving on three days later! THANKS BLUE!!!

Update: 2/15/2024 Still not a word from Blue, why did you ask for my contact info?

Update: 3/13/2024 ..... Still not a word from a bank rep. If you have no honest intention of making contact why ask me to send my information?

Update 3/22/2024: Finally was contacted by Blue...Spoke with a nice representative of the bank. Results were as I figured, they acted within their policy to resolve an issue with another persons account and used my money to do it. Frustrating Blue can take my money and give it to someone else who has accounts I have no access to, or knowledge of until this incident. I figured Blue would at least contact me to let me know they were about to seize my money to benefit other parties Blue being one of those parties. All is said and done, Blue pulled money from my account without my knowledge or consent. Hard to trust an institution that will not even let you know they are going to give your money to someone else.

Update 4/12/2024: Still annoyed that my banking institution took my money that I earned and transferred it to another account that is not mine, an account that I have no access to or knowledge of. Make sure you are aware of what they will do with your money without your knowledge or consent.

4/30/2024: Still wish I had my money back.

5/29/2024: Just thinking summer is coming and the money Blue took from my account without my consent would sure be nice to have for summer time activities.
8/13/2024: Still not over it yet, and I miss my money. There is a plus side to this, its a great story that leaves people in disbelief.
10/4/2024: Was just thinking about how of unethical it was to take someone's money without their knowledge. Just a heads up to let me know you where going to seize my money to pay someone else's debt would have been nice. Why not even a call?

I have a loan with them and I have had to call customer service several times recently to sort some things out and every person I've talked to has just been amazing. Overall best customer service I've ever seen from a large company.

BEWARE SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS!!!!!!!!

I had been with Blue for over five year's. Ever since Blue has found it more important to put there name on a event center in Colorado, they have forgotten how to take care of the small business owners in Cheyenne WY. Blue has become a bank that only cares about the bottom line. Small business expects communication, service, honesty and transparency, unfortunetly Blue Federal has forgotton this. They have what they call fraud analyst that make decisions without taking the time to understand the whole story. Again, I feel the most important part of "ANY BUSINESS" is understanding, communication, honesty and transparency. I discourage ANY NEW BUSINESS needing a bank using Blue Federal. Read their reviews, it seems to me there are way more negative posts than positive. "Numbers DON"T LIE"......... I don't usually give negative post's, unfortunatly Blue Federal has earned this post. Great job on putting Blue Federal Credit Union on a events center, but I would be more concerned about taking care of small business in your own back yard. You get a F+ in this catagory.

Once again, Blue Federal Credit Union has shown it's true colors. When I read their response and every other negative review, it's the same response. Once again, it shows that Blue Federal has gotten away from customer base services. So sad. I will continue to discourage any SMALL BUSINESS to use Blue Federal in any way. Blue Federal's statement of "We strive to be your life-long champion" it is a farse. It's very obvious on the time they take to answer their negative reviews. Imagine when you have other pressing issues, I have experienced there unwillingness to be transparent and help with the issue at hand.

UPDATE: 05/20/2024

Once again Blue Federal has shown it's pettyness in doing simple banking. I called in to make a payment on a "PERSONAL LOAN", but because of what took place with my business account, there fraud protection has flagged all my accounts with Blue Federal. It took over thrity minutes to transfer money from my account to make my payment. I have tried to call Blue Ferderal fraud protection unit 5 different times, but they are to busy or don't want try to communicate on the steps that need to be taken to resolve the issue. The business account has been closed for over a month. Let's give another example. I have been trying to get back onto the online banking to check my personal account, but because of what happened with the business account Blue will not give me access to ANY onling banking. Let's move forward Blue Federal. Why does it seem like your punishing me, I'm a grown up that has a personal account but you are not letting use your services. What does a personal account have to do with a closed business account. YOU SAY THAT BLUE FEDERAL WANTS TO BE THE "LIFE-LONG CHAMPION". Then maybe you should take the time to at least have the common courtesy to call a custmer back. ANYONE THAT IS LOOKING FOR A BANK, I WILL TELL YOU THAT BLUE FEDERAL CREDIT IS NOT A BANK THAT YOU SHOULD USE. IT DOSEN'T MATTER IF IT'S A PERSONAL ACCOUNT OR BUSINESS ACCOUNT.

Not the best service I have seen. They were unable to help us open an account with Blue and no one else was able to help in any other Blue branch? Sounds kind a crazy to me. Well, off to another bank who can help on the spot.
