I had an incredibly frustrating experience working with this credit union. We spent over a month and a half trying to complete a single deal, and the communication throughout the process was absolutely terrible. It felt like we were constantly reaching out for updates and support, only to be met with silence or vague responses.

When we finally received an answer regarding our deal, it was completely unprofessional and left us feeling disrespected and undervalued as customers. I would not recommend this credit union to anyone looking for a supportive and communicative financial partner. Save yourself the headache and find a credit union that actually cares about its customers!

TL;DRDon't refinance with MACU they will screw you and tell you tough luck when you call to try and fix it.

I refinance my loan on the 5th of this month with the 10 day payoff they told me to use.

They were suppose to send the payoff to my old credit union in Ogden from their corporate location in Sandy. This is less then an hour drive. We are now 10 day into this and my payoff expires today. I called to try and see if they can cancel the check and send it with a tracking number this time or at least comp me the interest on the loan. Both the employee and manager told me there is nothing I can do and tough luck.

Needless to say going to be filing a report with the state, moving all my loans away from MACU and closing all my accounts. All trust is lost with them.

I do much of my banking online. I depend on it for records that used to be on paper. Sometimes it disappears even from your system. I can usually have someone there find it. However, I really need access to someone in person to help explain something or change things. I hate the automated "How can I help you" guy and hang up. He never is able to help me. Thank you for the branch!

Mountain America is great. The tellers there are always friendly and attentative. I have received help from Nicole, Tiffany, the manager (I can't remember her name), and teller 3953 (I can't remember her name either). I have many transactions that they have to process at once and they always smile and push through my transactions promptly and also give feedback to ease processes for our store. These ladies all deserve giant trophies. 100% A+++ Satisfied.

Mountain America Credit Union has since the day I first walked in there been a pleasure to work with. Every one of the employees there know who I am and greet me. They are genuine and keep me on top of any business I use them for. I highly recommend them for any banking need you may have.
